Four men are due to appear before Dublin District Court number 2 at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30 am this morning, 4th April, charged in relation to a drug seizure on 2nd April 2014 in Dublin.
As part of an ongoing investigation into Drug Trafficking and Organised Crime in the Dublin area, two vehicles were stopped in the Coolock/Santry area of Dublin by members of the newly formed Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Unit, during the course of a search of these vehicles a large amount of whats believed to be Cannabis Herb with a street value of half a million euro was seized. Four men (aged 27,30,36 and 58 years) were arrested. The men were detained at Ballymun and Coolock Garda Stations under the provision of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 as amended.
