A male 38 years will appear before Bray District Ct at 10am tomorrow morning the 9th April 2015 in connection with the murder of Anne Shorthall.

The body of the female discovered at Ashford, Co Wicklow today (7/4/15) has been removed to the mortuary at St Columcilles Hospital in Loughlinstown where a Post Mortem will be carried out tomorrow morning (8/4/15).
A 38 year old man remains in Garda custody.

Gardaí at Wicklow Town are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a female at Ashford Co Wicklow this afternoon (Tuesday 7th April 2015)
The body remains at the scene which is being preserved for a full Garda Technical Examination.
The Wicklow Coroner and the State Pathologists office have been notified. Professor Marie Cassidy is expected at the scene later this afternoon.
A 38 year old man was arrested this afternoon in Co Wicklow in connection with this investigation and is currently detained at Wicklow Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.
