Gardai at Henry Street Garda Station investgating a shooting incident at New Road, Thomond Gate on the 16th September 2014, have arrested a second male.
The second male (20yrs) was arrested shortly after midnight on the 17th September in Limerick city and is being detained at Roxboro Garda station under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences the State Act 1939 as amended.

Gardai at Henry Street Garda Station, in Limerick have arrested a male following a shooting incident at New Road, Thomond Gate on the 16th September 2014.
The shooting incident occurred at approximatley 7.40pm when shots were fired at a house on New Road. There were a number of occupants (1 female 22yrs and 2 male teenagers) in the house at the time, but no one was injured in the incident.
A motor cycle was observed leaving the scene and Gardai arrested a male in his early 20's close to the scene. He was taken to Mayorstone Garda station where he is being detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
