Due to the large crowds that have so far attended and enjoyed the Royal DeLuxe event in Limerick City, Chief Superintendent Sheahan, Limerick, wishes to inform those who are a planning to attend the event tomorrow, Sunday 7th September 2014, that it is hugely important to get into the city early in order to get the best possible vantage points to see Granny as she leaves the city.
Barriers line the parade route and will allow for viewing on Rutland Street, Patrick Street, O' Connell Street with the junction of William Street and Sarsfield Street to Sarsfield Bridge. There will be no viewing point on Sarsfield Bridge itself.
Other viewing points include; O' Callaghan Strand, Bishop's Quay, Howley's Quay and Harvey's Quay.
