As part of a planned operation, Gardaí from the Kildare Division with the assistance of the Eastern Regional Support Unit and members of the National Support Services, last night arrested 3 men and recovered a quantity of property at a location in Blackwood, Athy, Co. Kildare.
The operation and recovery of items occurred at approximately 9:30pm last night 18th September 2014. The recovered items included a Honda CR-V, two horse boxes, and a selection of hand tools and equipment.
The three men, aged 30, 28, and 26 remain in custody at Kildare and Newbridge Garda stations under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The scene was examined by a local Scenes of Crime Unit and the property was later removed to a Garda compound where a detailed examination will be carried out.
