Gardai in Drogheda are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision at Tullyard, Ballymakenny Road at approximately 5.40pm this evening.
A 39 year old male was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a tractor. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
