Gardai in Annascaul are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occured at Ballynane, Annascaul, Kerry at approximately 18.40 yesterday evening Thursday 11th September 2014.
A 59 year old woman was fatally injured when the car she was a passenger in collided with another car. She was removed to Kerry General Hospital and died later that evening. The female driver of car, 58 years, along with the male driver, 39 years of the other car were removed to Kerry General Hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening.
