Death of Female - Waterford 5th September 2014

Gardaí at Waterford are investigating the full circumstances surrounding the death of a female on the grounds of St. Otteran’s Hospital in Waterford this evening (5/9/14)

The incident occurred at approximately 7pm. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently detained at Waterford Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.

 

The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

 

The scene is preserved pending a Garda technical examination.

 

Investigations are continuing.
