Gardaí at the Bridewell are investigating a serious road traffic collision which occurred at Hanlons Corner, North Circular Rd, Dublin 7 at approximately 4.13pm on Tuesday 30th September 2014.
An 87 year old man was knocked out of his electric wheelchair by a white truck believed to be a Mercedes at the above location. The injured man was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital but died on Friday 3rd October 2014.
The driver of the truck failed to remain at the scene to speak to Gardaí. Investigating officers are anxious to speak to this driver or to any other person who can provide information or who witnessed the collision to contact them at the Bridewell Garda Station on 01-666 8200
