Shooting incident Aghalane Ballyconnell County Cavan 25th October 2014

Gardaí in Belturbet are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Aghalane Bridge, Ballyconnell, County Cavan, yesterday evening, Saturday 25th October 2015 at approximately 7.15pm.

A man, 41 years, was discovered with apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cavan General Hospital with injuries described as non life threatening.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
