Gardai in Buncrana are investigating a three vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N13 at Lisfannon, Burt, Co Donegal at approximately 10.30pm last night.
A male motorcyclist in his 50’s was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with two cars. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Letterkenny General Hospital. One of the drivers, a male in his 30’s, was taken to hospital in Derry with what were described as minor injuries and the other driver was uninjured. This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
