A male aged in his 60's is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (Criminal Courts of Justice 2) this afternoon (1/10/2014) charged in connection with this incident.

Gardaí in Pearse Street are investigating the circumstances of an incident which occurred on the 2nd March 2014. At approximately 6.30am a number of cars were damaged when a car drove into the grounds of Trinity College. On exiting the College grounds the closed college gates were damaged. The car proceeded up Dawson St. where a number of other cars were damaged. It was stopped by Gardaí on Dawson Street. A male 68 years was arrested and was taken to Pearse St. Garda station.
