A man aged 31 years is due to appear before Criminal Courts of Justice, number 2 this afternoon, Tuesday 28th October, 2014 charged in connection with the robbery that occured at Terrace Place, Dublin 1 on Sunday evening 26th October, 2014.

Gardai at Mountjoy have arrested a man aged 31 years, in relation to an incident that occured at Terrace Place, Dublin 1 yesterday evening Sunday 26th October, 2014.
At approximately 7.25 p.m last night, a taxi man was robbed when a lone male, who was travelling in the taxi, allegedly produced a firearm and demanded cash. He left the scene on foot.
The 31 year old man arrested is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Mountjoy Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
