Gardaí have this evening, Wednesday 12th November 2014, charged a 23 year old man in connection with an incident which occurred in the Woodbrook Lawn area, Tralee, Co Kerry on 11th November 2014.
The man remains in Garda custody and is due to appear before Caherciveen District Court in the morning, Thursday 13th November 2014 at 10.30am.
The man was arrested in Tralee yesterday evening, Tuesday 11th November and was detained at Tralee Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí at Tralee are investigating an incident which occurred at a house in Woodbrook Lawn, Tralee at approximately 6am this morning. (11/11/14)
An unknown male entered the grounds of a house at Woodbrook Lawn, Tralee, this individual is believed to have interfered with a car parked in the driveway. He then walked around to the back of the house and was confronted by the home owner and his son. An altercation occurred resulting in the home owner (47yrs) and his son (17yrs) received minor stab wounds.
The unknown male fled the scene in the direction of Monavalley Road.
Gardaí and Ambulance personal attended the scene and both injured men were taken to Kerry General Hospital.
The assailant is described as being 5 10/ 5 11, light blonde short hair, slim build and wearing a black hoodie with white stripes on the sleeves.
