Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision in Clondalkin on the 21st November 2014.
The collision occurred at the junction of Outer Ring Road and Nangor Road at approximately 4.30am when a car collided with a lamp post. The female (31 years) driver who was the sole occupant of the car was seriously injured in the collision. The emergency services attended the scene. The seriously injured motorist was taken to Tallaght Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The Outer Ring road is closed (between the Baldonnell Road turn-off and the junction of the Nangor Road) for a Forensic Collision Examination.
