Gardaí are investigating a fatal assault in Ballyfermot that occured in the early hours of this morning 16th November, 2014.
Gardaí were called to the incident at a unit in O'Casey Avenue, Parkwest, Ballyfermot at approximately 4 a.m. and discovered a man in his 20s injured at the scene. The man was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The scene has been preserved for forensic technical examination and the office of the State Pathogolist has been notified.
