Gardai in New Ross, Co Wexford arrested a 60 year old male in relation to a stabbing incident at a house on Grange Road, New Ross on the 15th May 2014.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.30pm, a male 34yrs was seriously injured and taken to Waterford Regional Hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable. The 60 year old male was arrested shortly after the incident and is being detained at New Ross Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
The scene is being preserved for a technical examination.
