Gardai in Ballybofey are investigating a fatal road traffic collision between a truck and a motor cycle at Loughmor, Barnsmore Gap on the road between Donegal town and Ballybofey on the 7th May 2014.
The collision occurred at approximately 11.50am. A male(69yrs) was seriously injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was taken to Letterkenny General hospital where a post mortem was carried out. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The road was closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Examination and has since reopened.
