Gardaí at Bray, Co Wicklow are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Calary which is on the main Kilmacanoge to Roundwood Road, Co Wicklow at approximately 5.35pm today (Monday May 5th 2014)
A 40 year old male was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to St. Columcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown where a post mortem will take place.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Bray Garda Station on 01-666 5300, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
This section of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
