Fatal road traffic collision at Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny on the 27/5/14

Gardaí at Graiguenamanagh are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Main Street, Graiguenamanagh at approximately 10am this morning (27/5/14).

A female in her late 70’s was struck by a 4 x 4 vehicle and fatally injured. Her body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital where a full Post Mortem will take place.

The road is closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Examination and local diversions are in place.
