A man in his early 20s is due to appear at a sitting of Bray District Court charged in relation to a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Croneyhorn on the R725 between Shillelagh and Carnew, Co Wicklow, on 11th May 2014 at approximately 4am.
A man, 23 years, suffered fatal injuries when the car he was travelling in as a passenger collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at scene.
A man, early 20’s was arrested in connection with this investigation is detained at Gorey Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, anyone with information or who may have travelled the R725 at Croneyhorn between 3am–4am on Sunday 11th May 2014 to contact them at Baltinglass Garda Station on 059 6482610, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Croneyhorn on the R725 between Shillelagh and Carnew, Co Wicklow, this morning, 11th May 2014 at approximately 4am.
A man, 23 years, suffered fatal injuries when the car he was travelling in as a passenger collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at scene. A post mortem is to be arranged.
A man, early 20’s has been arrested in connection with this investigation and is currently detained at Gorey Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The R725 remains closed at Croneyhorn to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
