The man aged in his 20s who was arrested yesterday Wednesday 20th May, 2014 in relation to the cannabis plants seized during an operation in Co. Cavan has been charged.
He will appear before Cavan District Court at 10.30am this morning charged in connection with these seizures.

Gardaí have arrested a male a seized a large quantity of cannabis plants during an operation in Co. Cavan on the 20th of May 2014.
As part of an ongoing investigation members from the Cavan District and the Regional Support Unit seized 140 cannabis plants during a search at a house near Kilnaleck yesterday evening. The drugs, subject to analysis, have an estimated street value of €120,000. Cultivation equipment was also recovered and a technical examination of the scene is ongoing.
A male aged in his 20s arrested during the operation is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
