Three males to appear before Special Criminal Court re Dissident Arrests & Device Found in Co Louth on the 25th May 2014.
Three males (37, 38 and 44 yrs) will appear before the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street at 10am on the 28th May 2014 as part of the ongoing investigations into the activities of dissident republicans by Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit, Harcourt Square.
The two other males have been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As part of ongoing investigations into the activities of Dissident republicans Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit assisted by Gardaí from Crime & Security carried out an operation in the Kilcurry area of Co Louth this evening (25/5/14).
During the course of this operation five men were arrested ranging in ages from early 70’s to mid 50’s. They are detained at Drogheda and Dundalk Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act. A suspect device was recovered during this operation which will be examined by a Defence Forces EOD team.
Investigations are continuing.
