Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing incident in Dundalk, Co Louth on the 24th May 2014.
At approximately 2200 hours a 24-year-old male was seriously injured when he was stabbed during an incident outside a house on Mill Road, Dundalk. He was taken by Ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. (His injuries are not thought to be life threatening)
A male aged in his 20s was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Dundalk Garda Station. The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
