Gardaí investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the Moneymore Estate, Drogheda, Louth on Sunday 23rd March 2014 at approximately 6pm in which a male (35yrs) received leg injuries have arrested a male (19yrs).
He is being detained at Drogheda Garda station under the provisions of section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
The injured male is receiving treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
