Gardaí investigating a Post Office robbery which occurred at Strokestown, County Roscommon on 4th March 2014 have, this evening 5th March 2014, arrested a man, 26 years.
The man was arrested in the Roscommon area and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Roscommon Garda Station.
He is the third male arrested in connection with this investigation. Two men, both in their 20’s, were arrested yesterday 4th March 2014 and are currently detained at Roscommon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences against the State Act. 1939.
Investigations are continuing.
