Further Update - Gerard Donnelly murder investigation 29th November 2014

A 20 year old man arrested in connection with a murder investigation was released without charge last night (3/3/14).

A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director Of Public Prosecutions.

A 20-year-old male has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Gerard Donnelly whose body was discovered in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, on the 29th November 2013.

He was arrested this morning (3/3/2014) in Dublin’s north inner city and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Finglas Garda Station.

A 27-year-old male is currently charged and before the courts in relation to this case.
