Approximately €600,000 (subject to analysis) of cannabis seized in Cork City on the 29th March 2014
As part of Operation Nitrogen, Gardai from the Divisional Drug Unit, Cork City assisted by local Garda Units searched an industrial unit at Ballycurreen Industrial Estate in Frankfield, Cork City today the 29th March 2014.
During the course of the search Gardai discovered approximately 18 Kilos of harvested cannabis plants and approximately 250 cannabis plants with a street value of €600,000(subject to analysis). Three males and one female(all aged between 35 and 45 years) were arrested and are being detained at Togher and the Bridewell(Cork City) Garda stations under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
