A man in his early 40s is due to appear at Criminal Courts of Justice No 2 today at 10.30am charged in relation to the fatal stabbing of Dean Fitzpatrick on 25th May 2013.

Gardaí at Coolock are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year old man whose body was discovered at Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Dublin 5 at approximately 11.20pm last night (25/5/13)
Gardaí were called to the scene of an incident at the above location where the man is believed to have received a number of stab wounds. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau. The office of the State Pathologists office has been notified
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may witnesses this incident or who may have information to contact them at Coolock Garda Station 01-666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
Investigations are continuing.
