A 24-year-old male arrested by Gardaí, following a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin 8 on the 8th June 2014,
Is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (Criminal Courts of Justice No.3) tomorrow morning (10th June 2014) charged in connection with the investigation.

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at James' Street/Mount Brown, Dublin 8, on Sunday 8th June 2014 at approximately 8.45am. One male, mid 20's, received fatal injuries when the vehicle he was a passenger of collided with a pole. He was taken to Saint James' Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The State Pathologist's Office has been notified and a post mortem is to be arranged.
Investigating Gardaí have arrested a male, mid 20's, in connection with this investigation and he is currently detained at Kilmainham Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The vehicle involved was the subject of an unauthorised taking a short time prior to the incident, (8.30am), in the Dublin 8 area. The vehicle was not being pursued at the time of the collision. No other persons were seriously injured during the incident.
