Update – Serious Assault in Cork City on the 27/6/14

The two males arrested by Gardaí from Anglesea Street investigating a serious assault in Cork City on Friday, 27th June, have been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai in Anglesea Street are investigating a serious assault that occured in the early hours of this morning Friday 27th June 2014 in Cork City.

Two males (early 30's and early 40's) were arrested in connection with this incident and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Bridewell Garda Station.
