Gardaí at Kilmacthomas Co Waterford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Ballyvoile, Stradbally, Co Waterford at approximately 6.50pm last night (Friday 20th June 2014)
A car and a pedal cyclist were in collision at the above location. The male pedal cyclist (32yrs old) was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Waterford where he was pronounced dead a short time later. No other person was injured.
The road has been closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision examination.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Kilmacthomas Garda Station on 051- 295630 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
