Gardai in Kilkenny are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Lintown Grove, Lintown Hall (a housing estate on the outskirts of Kilkenny city) on the 12th June 2014.
The collision occurred at approximately 6.30pm when a car collided with a six year old male pedestrian. The male was taken to St Luke's hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem is due to take place tomorrow the 13th June. The driver of the car, a female in her 40's the sole occupant of the car was uninjured in the collision.
The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination.
