Fatal road traffic collision in Co Mayo on the 14/6/14

Gardai in Ballina are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision in Co Mayo on the 14th June 2014.

The collision involving a motor cycle occurred at approximately 12 midday on the 14th June 2014 on the Crossmolina to Belmullet Road (approximately 4 miles outside Crossmolina) N59.
 
 The female (54yrs) motorcyclist was seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
