Gardaí at Ronanstown Garda Station are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Clondalkin at approximately 3.45pm today (Monday 2nd June 2014).
A male in his 70’s (only occupant) was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck a service gate at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene of the collision was sealed off to facilitate a Garda forensic collision examination but has since reopened.
