Dissident arrests & firearm recovered in Tallaght, Dublin on the 5/6/14

As part of ongoing investigations into the activities of Dissident republicans Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit assisted by Gardaí from Crime & Security carried out an operation in the Tallaght area of Dublin this morning (5/6/14)

During the course of this operation two men were arrested (30’s & 20’s) A firearm was also recovered.  They are detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences against the State Act 1939.
 

Investigations are continuing.
