Gardaí at Shankill are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the M11 Loughlinstown at approximately 9am this morning 30th July 2014.
A 23 year old male driver (only occupant) received fatal injuries when the car he was driving struck a pole. He was taken to St. Columcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown and pronounced dead a short time later.
The road was closed for a time to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
