Sudden Death in Longford on the 26/1/14

Gardaí in Longford town are investigating the full circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a 36 year old male in an apartment at Harbour Point, Longford at approximately 9am yesterday morning 26/1/14.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore Hospital where a post mortem was carried out. The scene remains preserved for a Garda forensic examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
