Gardaí at Waterford are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 50 year old John Gear.
Mr. Gear was last seen early Monday morning, 15th January 2014, in the Knockboy area, Waterford, and was reported missing later that evening.
John Gear is described as being 5'5" in height, of medium/stocky build with grey well kept hair. He was last seen wearing a navy coloured 'Waterford County Council' bomber jacket and blue denim jeans.
John Gear drove a 08 WD registered Silver Toyota Auris Hatchback. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed this vehicle being driven in the Waterford City, Tramore, Dunmore East areas on Monday 15th - Tuesday 16th January 2014 to contact them.
