A man who disappeared from his Essex home has been found safe and well in Ireland.
Alex Saidian was reporting missing by his wife on Saturday, January 11 after he left his home in Basildon and failed to return.
The Swedish national was found safe and well in Dublin on Tuesday, January 14. He has been put in contact with his family and will be reunited with them in due course.
Essex Police would like to thank those Irish media who assisted with this missing person investigation.

We have been asked to circulate the following missing person press release on behalf of the Essex Police.
The family of 46 year old Alex Saidian from Basildon in Essex are anxious to trace his whereabouts. Alex was reported missing by his wife on Saturday January 11th 2014.
He was captured on CCTV departing on a ferry from Holyhead in Wales and arriving in Dublin in the early hours of today (Monday January 13th 2014).
Alex is described as being 5’11” with short dark brown hair. When last seen he was wearing dark blue jeans, a grey jumper, black jacket and black shoes.
