Drug seizure at Rosslare Europort, Wexford on the 28/1/14

Two men are in Garda custody following the seizure of drugs at Rosslare Europort today the 28th January 2014 shortly before noon.

The men (one in his 30's and the other in his 50's) were arrested following the seizure of a quantity of cannabis and ecstasy with an estimated street value of €63,200.  The drugs were discovered by Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service during the search of a car which has travelled on a ferry from France.
 

The two men, who are believed to be Polish nationals, are detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Wexford Garda Station.
