Drug seizure and arrest in Longford on the on the 26/1/14

As a result of ongoing investigations Gardai from the Divisional Drugs Unit based in Roscommon seached a house in Ballinamuck, Co Longford on the 26th January 2014.

 During the course of the search they discovered a grow house with related cultivation processes  and approximately 114 Cannabis plants with an approx street value of  €91,200 (subject to analysis).

 
One male (22yrs) was arrested and is being detained under the provisions of section 2 of Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Longford Garda station.
