Cannabis grow house discovered in Co. Clare on the 8/1/14

Gardai have discovered a cannabis cultivation operation at a house in Co. Clare.

As part of an operation targeting the cultivation cannabis Gardaí from Kilrush Garda Station searched a house at Breaffa, Carraigaholt, Co. Clare on the 8th January 2014.

Gardai discovered 600 plants growing and evidence of in excess of 500 harvested plants. Subject to analysis the drugs seized may have a street value of anmost €500,000.

The scene remains preserved and a technical examination of the area is being carried out. There have been no arrests.
