Gardai have arrested two males following an aggravated burglary at a house in Tallaght on the 15th January 2014.
At approximately 0045 hours intruders armed with a bread knife entered the house in the Rossfield area. Following a confrontation with the occupants of the house they fled the scene on foot empty handed. One of the occupants (male 40s) sustained minor injures during the incident.
During a follow up search Gardai arrested two males (both 16 years of age) in relation to the incident a short time later.
Both males are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tallaght Garda Station.
Enquiries are ongoing.
