Gardai in Lucan are investigating a shooting incident which occurred shortly before 10.30pm on the 13th Feb 2014 at Abbeywood Court, Lucan.
A male (46yrs) was seriously injured and has been taken to Blanchardstown Hospital. The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
Anyone who may have been in the Abbeywood Court area of Lucan tonight and may have seen any unusual or suspicious behaviour before the shooting or after the shooting and/or may have seen a car leave the scene are asked to contact the Gardai in Lucan on 01 6667300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
