The body of Elaine McCann was located this evening in Cavan during a search operation involving local Gardaí and Boyne River Rescue.

Gardai in Cavan wish to seek the publics assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 43 year old Elaine McCann missing from Stradone, Co. Cavan.
Elaine was last seen at approximately 7pm on the 19/12/14. She is described as being 5’8’’ in height, 11 stone in weight with short dark hair. She was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and a dark coloured Liverpool FC jacket.
