Gardaí have arrested a man, 24 years, following a robbery at a business premises on Lombard Street East, Dublin 2 which occurred this morning, Saturday 20th December 2014 at approximately 9am.
A man entered the business premises armed with a knife and stole a quantity of cash. Gardaí were alerted and on arrival were met by a man armed with a knife who fled the scene on foot.
Gardai pursued the man and following a struggle Gardaí arrested a man and he is currently detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. The stolen cash and a knife has been recovered at the scene.
