Gardaí at Templemore are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Cloone Cross, Templemore at approximately 11.55am yesterday morning (17/12/14).
A car and a motor cycle were in collision at the above location. The male motorcyclist in his 70’s received serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Limerick where he was pronounced dead last night.
No other persons were injured in this collision.
The road was closed to traffic to facilitate a Garda forensic collision investigation.
