Gardai in Cavan are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic at Kildallagh, Ballinagh, Co Cavan on the 30th November 2014.
The collision occurred at approximately 10.16pm when a car collided with a tree on the Ballinagh to Crossdoney Road (R154). The male driver (31yrs) was seriously injured in the collision, he was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A post mortem is due to take place later today. There was no one else in the car at the time of the collision.
The road remains closed for a Forensic Collision Examination and diversions are in place.
