Fatal road traffic collision in Athlone, Westmeath on the 10/12/14

Gardai in Athlone are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured in Glasson Village, Athlone on Wednesday morning at 8a.m., 10th December 2014.

A female pedestrian, 24 years, suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car. She was taken to Tullamore General Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where she passed away yesterday evening Friday 12th December, 2014. A post mortem is to be arranged.
